Promises come true

I called them sweet promises in a previous post. 

And hopefully  sometimes  promises  come true!

 I've been picking cherries from the tree in these days.

It's one of those simple things that have the power to help us stay grounded.

Fortunatamente a volte le promesse diventano realtà...

 ☺

Negli ultimi giorni quindi ho raccolto ciliegie dall'albero,

è una di quelle cose semplici che hanno il potere di riportarci con i piedi per terra.

Adesso sto cercando idee e ricette per mangiarle...

L'anno scorso ad esempio le ho sciroppate 

con un pochettino di zucchero. garofano, cannella 

e un bel po' di vino terrano.

And now I'm looking for recipes or different ways to eat them.

Last year for example I made a cherry syrup

with a little sugar, cinnamon, cloves 

and a generous ammount of terrano wine.
